Chintu Travels Day 15.

The end.

Leh airport is one of the smallest airports I have been to, it's smaller than a lot of small railway stations I have been too. Security checks are a bit of a pain, because of a few more layers like baggage identification after checking in, and recheck of the limited hand baggage that is allowed.

I latched on to the vacant window seats as I had aisle one, still a disappointment of not getting to see the hills better because of the cloud cover.

Every time I am at an airport, I tend to notice that elderly woman, a first timer who is nervous to go through the security check or get on the escalator, and every time they complete it, the smile on their face creates a stream of satisfaction on your face.

It's been 3 years, since I flew for the first time and that too was for the first time I was "backpacking".

This is probably why I can easily connect with the sense of adventure people have when they fly for the first time. The view is majestic every time you're up there and window seats are to die for, because "Badal Zaruri hai".

Anyhow, coming back to the grind, starting with a complete clean up of the apartment, and clearing pending bills, and getting hooked on to the internet.

The travel diary stops here, thanks for reading
